A contemplative video-art piece about the way animals are abused, processed, reduced, and thought about in our culture. By Zachary Skinner
This work is influenced by silent films, deep-ecology, non-violent resistance, and Eastern mind-body practices. The Shakuhachi is also performed by Zachary Skinner. The music composition is an old Japanese Buddhist piece called "Tamuke". It is usually played as an eulogy, and the meaning translates to "Hands folded together in prayer."
