This is my son, Theo. He was 1 year to 1 year and 3 months in this clip. When I first got my 5d mark II, the first thing I did was shoot video with it. I was so impressed! I am a photographer, but I love "the picture" and I love cinematography. Until now, I knew I would never afford to buy a good image quality video camera, and when I saw this camera... WOW! Blew me away!

This clip was shot entirely handheld, mostly with a Canon 50mm 1.4 and a Canon EF 17-40 f4 L. I never thought I would ever have time to edit what I was shooting. All was done on a 13 inch dell xps with core 2 duo t8100 and just 2 GB of RAM. With Vegas it works like a charm.

This is my first clip. Don't shoot me. :) I've used mostly trials to get this. So here is what I've used:
Converted to Cineform HD with Neoscene
Sony Vegas - editing and minor contrast and color correction
After Effects and Twixtor for the first 10 seconds
Magic Bullet Looks for 40-50% of the clip
The Foundry Rolling Shutter - to remove that ugly gel effect
Deshaker - Virtual Dub - for some of the static scenes to remove camera shake

Music: Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal

Any comments and suggestions are more then welcome. I'm a begginer in this. Thanks! :)
