On November 26th, Dr. F. James Levinson presented his recent work, "Addressing Malnutrition Multisectorally: What have we learned from recent international experience?" Dr. Levinson draws on case studies in Peru, Brazil, and Bangladesh to analyze how multisectoral approaches, including advocacy for adoption of national-level policies, can be harnessed to contribute to nutrition outcomes. A full half hour of Q&A allowed participants a rare chance to discuss moving the agriculture/nutrition agenda forward in a transparent and effective manner. The USAID-funded SPRING project, based in Washington, D.C., is grateful to have hosted this talk.
