It is the spring of 1983. Anders Tomlinson and Kit Nuzum arrive in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico to begin shooting on an Umon Nuto sponsored project. Most of the super-eight film footage was single-framed with additional short bursts and several time-lapse sequences. They used Kodachrome asa 40 film stock with a Minolta news camera. The footage is now fourth generation from a projected film to video transfer. Super-eight footage from 1983, 1985 and 1993 will be professionally transfered in 2014. The film has been sitting in a climate controlled dark vault for as long as 20 years.
The music is from a Simple Band session in Del Mar, Ca - Channel 38 in January 1989. Players are the Simple brothers: Anders, Denver, Animal, Sam and Anton. In January 2014 Denver Clay and Anders revisit this musical concept to produce "Promenade" which will be used in a Plaza de Armas scene from the coming "Good Morning Alamos, Sonora, Mexico" movie.
