This is just me getting used to my new toy. I did some random shots of my family (3year old, 8year old and wife, shrubbery etc.). I didn’t get the kit lens so everything is basically manual shooting. Of course I still have lots to learn but I’m having fun so far. The lens I’m using on this piece is nice. It has a pleasantly softer look than most of the lens I see folks using and is very fast (f 1.4).
Don’t mind the bad acting on my part...ha ha… I just didn’t want to do the typical “7D test video.” I figured shooting myself talking on the phone is my way of a “fake’ action shot (though I really was talking on the phone).
This camera, including the work I’ve seen from other here, really inspires me to do more shooting.
I actually did a bit of work in post with the image (though it doesn't look like it) and it held up nicely I think. Also, I need to get a wide angle lens. This is nothing like shooting on a camcorder.
--Lens: Super Takamura 50mm f1.4 (M42 mount)
--NLE: Sony Vegas using Secondary Color, Color Curve, Gradient map, Sony Level, Sepia
(I really didn’t need to touch the image…just wanted to see if I can)
--Music: Just something I threw together
Don't worry...I'll get better.
