I've been in Barrow, Alaska, for about a day now. I've been walking everywhere because I don't have a car or a snowmobile, and I get the feeling this is somewhat rare. I've only seen a few other people out walking, and when I was walking earlier an older guy picked me up and drove me back to the motel. It's like people don't want there to be walking here. I'm going a little stir crazy in this hotel room. And it certainly isn't very light outside....
