P60, venue for pop, culture and media Presents Moving Buildings: one of Amstelveens most prestigious Multi media projects returns for its third instalment.
This years opening will take place the on 3th December at 5.30 p.m. with the Amstelveen alderman for culture hosting the event. During 2 weeks, until the 17th of December, on the glass front of P60, young artists will be showing their visual projections.
This project is made possible thanks to Gemeente Amstelveen and Mediacollege Amsterdam
With the use of projected video and innovative artistic design Moving Buildings will animate the nightlife of the Stadsplein. The artists will create interaction with the public through visual arts and architecture.
It offers to the residents of Amstelveen a new way to experience their daily environment. After the success of the previous editions, this year the videos will incorporate the many sides of design including: graphics, animations, digital techniques, camera recordings and editing results.
This year P60 will turn into a living active building. The surface of building will be projected to imitate a real house. The 12 windows will be shown as 6 appartments.
The task for the artists is to build a visual narrative with a inner interaction among the windows of each video/flat and also an outer interaction of them with the public, in order to create a dialog between the real world and virtual One.
