Eagles Nest, The Caves and Flat Rocks, Inverloch, are popular places on the Victorian coast for School excursions, Tourists, and fossil seeking groups. A large number of Dinosaur bone fragment fossils are excavated at Flat Rocks every year by the "Dinosaur Dreaming" team from Monash University, Victoria, Australia, with volunteers from around the world. Dinosaur fossils have been found on the rock platforms from Inverloch to San Remo in the Shire of Bass with the first recorded find in Australia at Eagles Nest in 1905; "The Cape Patterson Claw". NOTE 1. The "Dinosaur Dreaming" team from Monash University will not be at Inverloch in February 2014.
