I regularly get asked for an insight into how we achieve certain shots while filming, so here's a short clip showing an aerials shoot up at Cradle Mountain.
Conditions weren't kind for flying around for 2.5 hours with the doors off the Squirrel helicopter. Not sure which was more frozen, the touch-screen monitor or my fingers trying to drive it?
Fortunate to have a great working relationship with pilot Bruce Colwell - a consummate and unflappable
professional. If the pilot doesn't have a feel for what I'm trying to achieve, we're literally throwing $55 per minute out the window.
