BUT i was wondering if it is just the low light capability that makes that cam worth to pay the higher price ... do you think you can/could manage to get that sort of shots with the 7D or 5DII ?
Great idea with the timelapse, and then there's Rick eating the sausage....PRICELESS!
BTW, loved that you did it all in B&W.
And I love the B&W, though I have to admit I'm a sucker for Christmas lights which there seemed to be lots of, which left me wanting to see you do your wonderful thing with all that colour too! :)
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
great work dude.
Great music selection too.
what did you set your exposure to for the timelapse in the courtyard? the motion blur of the people walking looks great!
Snowflakes in front of the clock tower is my fav shot.
Due to this cold weather I don't wanna know what's happened with the balls of the castle guards...
3 months ago I guess everything was still ok:-)

Would love to see you in Vienna someday...
2:30 bricks with snow timelapse is simple perfect. phil you became master of timelapse...
It gets used pretty much everywhere.....I think I saw an ad for toilet paper which used it!
Love the shots....love the meat on a spit! Very nice work, Mr Bloom....
Lovely opening shot with the window opening and the way it frames the shot. Also like the fact you finished by closing the window and then used the window as a framing tool for the credits.
Really enjoyed the pace as well, the music gives so much structure and as it drops I love the long time lapse of the snow hitting the cobbles. Not sure about the shot that follows though, seems to be very little movement going on in the shot for a time lapse. A few people walking on the right and a little water movement doesn’t really work for me.
Finally I love the shot on the bus or tram. The quiet carriage coupled with the music is perfect.
Seems like I’m going to repeat what everyone else has said on here, including myself in previous posts, but well-done mate. You’ve captured the city and some of it’s people well.
Surely you've got to make a real pooper soon (you are human?)
b/w with this music.
the question is, is katchaturian music peace free to use? can i use it too?
Wonderful shooting, beautiful edit and well chosen music...
Oh and the EOS was pretty good too.
Deeply satisfying to watch. Thank you.
anyway ... still a great philip bloom film :)
prague is a lovely city to convert in B/W!
nice Job Philip, like always,
keep giving us the joy to do this work!
i still can't understand why Canon didn't make it Full sensor but i will get ASAP.
can't wait to shoot a Feature with few Dedo's,Kinos and litepanels.
Regards,
Patrick
Congratulations and thank you very much for sharing.
Did you use a mini dolly for some of those shots?
Great great b&w footage !!!
