Over the past month, twelve Young Friends have been working individually on developing a story and character to create their own monologue. Drawing on inspiration from the Almeida’s new English version of De Filippo’s Filumena, the monologues carry themes of morals, family ties and responsibilities, the life of a bachelor, desperation and, to top it all off, trust and deceit in love, sex and money.

You are invited to come join us on Thursday 12 April to see all fifteen participants performing their monologues in front of a panel of industry judges (Michael Attenborough, Jane Fallowfield, Gary Davy, Morgan Watkins), competing to become our YFA Monologue Champ!

AND we shall also be holding a raffle! Yes! One of our famous raffles filled with goodies! From cinema tickets to Nando's platters - we have it all!
Raffle tickets will be £1.50 for one strip or £2 for two strips.

Be there or be square!

Tickets are limited and we suggest a minimum donation of £3. All tickets must be booked through Natalie Mitchell on NMitchell@almeida.co.uk No booking, no entry.

7pm, Thursday 12 April, at 108 Upper Street.
