ForageSF hosted its first underground market in a private residence in the Mission District last Thursday. The event provided an affordable opportunity for newly minted entrepreneurs to reach San Francisco foodies.
A typical space runs around $300 to $500 said Shakirah Simley, owner of SlowJams, which is out of range for her and many other small business owners.
