very nice demo. is there any information on how you acquire the background plates in NYC and SF? is that generated from Still photography or is there a motion picture 2nd unit that grabs all that for you?

    what background music is??
  • Jed Smith 7 months ago
The music is "Lionheart" by Emancipator... Track 11 off of his album "Soon it Will be Cold Enough". Great music that deserves more recognition!

You do realize you're making my dreams come true here, right?

This is amazing stuff, I have no idea how hard it is to do, but I imagine it'll only get easier as the years go on. Exciting times.

SO impressive... but personally I still ache for pure reality. Just a snotty thing for sure but I really like the look and FEEL of the real thing. With that said, this is an amazing alternative when you can't create exactly what you want in reality. Well done.

Brilliant! I recognise a lot of the scenes, especially from Grey's Anatomy, and I wouldn't have known compositing was happening if I didn't see this :)

Which software do you use for your (3D) compositing?
Are the shots tracked or all motion controlled?
