DERMA/SKIN is not a classical show. It is a celebration, a "tribute" to mechanics, labour, monotony and apathy. It is a poetic metaphor for the current state of the Greek society into crisis and also for the development of a powerful authoritarian state - Leviathan, a conservative doctrine against human rights and freedom of thought.
The director, Elli Papakonstantinou, inspired by the authoritarian state “Leviathan” by T. Hobbes, creates this site specific performance, which is structured as a triptych and is developed in three different areas of Vyrsodepseio.
