Hakuba Cortina is an Italian style lodge tucked away in the mountains outside of Hakuba and greater Nagano. Hakuba Cortina's European architecture makes quite a contrast against the traditional Japanese winged roofs. Cortina is famous for its champagne powder as well as its onsen.
A typical ski day is as follows: Wake up --> Walk to breakfast in your kimono and enjoy the buffet --> Shred pow for a few hours --> Come in for lunch and have some of the best pizza in Japan ---> Shred more pow --> take a rest in the lodge and enjoy tea/snacks --> Night ski for an hour or so --> Dinner, buffet style, another feast with sushi and other traditional japanese dishes --> Watch the snow fall as you rest in the onsen --> Go to bed happy --> REPEAT
