Keďže post modernisti kládli otázky a znovuobjavovali čo je to tanec (i keď sami boli zruční a dôkladne trénovaní tanečníci), predošlá tanečná skúsenosť nebola nevyhnutnosťou.

Preskúmali sme koncepty skupiny Judson Church a v tvorbe Yvonne Rainer, obzvlášť jej emblematického diela Trio A.
Miesto toho aby sme sa pýtali “čo si vytvoril?", prípadne "čo to znamená?”, sme si kládli otázku”ako si to vytvoril”?
We were exploring the questions the post modern creators and performers were asking, re-dance the answers they proposed and investigate how these ideas can be useful for a contemporary artist nowadays be it a performer or a creator.

Since the post modern artists were questioning and rediscovering what dance means (although most of them were highly skilled and trained dancers), previous dance experience was not a necessity. On the contrary.

The workshop had two main parts:
How to prepare a moving body.
In this part we looked at physical concepts and ideas reinvented and explored in the work of post modern artists.

What is a dance and how to make one.
In this part we played with the approaches and ideas around creation. We looked at the concepts explored in the Judson Church group and the work of Yvonne Rainer, specially in her emblematic Trio A, and see how they can inform and enrich dance making nowadays. In stead of asking “what it is you made or what does it mean?”, we asked “how did you make it?."
