Based on the concept of an evolving journey, the building's layout is organised around three open courtyards which symbolise key developmental stages and provide secure play space.

The undulating ceiling and roofline are central to the spatial experience, affecting every internal space and binding the organisation together.

Windows are placed at a variety of levels to suit different users.

Artwork developed in collaboration with artist Martin Richman animates the glazing.
