We were invited to enter this competition as part of CABE’s Sea Change initiative. DSDHA’s proposal creates a dynamic Cloud that floats above the horizon of Weston-Super-Mare’s seafront. Both building and landscape, art piece and display case, it is an attraction, a delight and a curiosity.

An array of needles reflects the flow of pedestrian movement, capturing the town's energy as a destination and starting point. Appealing to a child's eye level as well as an adult's, it appears to shift and change like the sky and the sea.
