I traveled to Rome over the summer with two main goals: visit ancient ruins and take as many photos and videos as humanly possible. With about 3,000 photos and 10 gigs of video footage under my belt, I like to think I accomplished the latter. So, this video represents the grand sum of all of that footage.
Seeing as I spent a good portion of the trip behind a camera lens, I'd say this video is a pretty good representation of my experiences in Rome. There were always at least two impressive pieces of architecture and at least three well-dressed Italian men around every corner in Rome. The ancient ruins were especially impressive - so much so that I visited the Roman Forum three separate times over the course of my trip. On one visit, it was so hot outside that my toenail polish melted inside my shoes. I didn't even know that was possible.
So, enjoy this video journey through the city of Rome in the air-conditioned comfort of your own home. Buon viaggio!
