One of the latest trends (at least for me) in videography is the Shoebox technique which uses... well... a shoe box fitted with a lens to project the image on a tracing paper. The result is a dream like noisy image with a kind of a shallow DOF.

I studied the look of this effect and designed a project in Apple Motion to simulate it. A copy of the project can be found here:
