In the late 60's through the 70's in Maine a crew of surfers were documenting their sessions. This video is a small tribute to the way they did it. It's made up of footage and audio from Joe Dube. The story he told me was that him and Tom Wiley would spend nights after work splicing together the film their friends and themselves had shot of each other surfing. After that they would show it at different venues around the coast of Maine. The audio is from a reel to reel that they used at the screenings. I did very little editing to this so that it would be as close to original as possible.
