my first test with a canon 7d as a video cam - 1280x720 pix 25 fps - orginal movie is 60 fps - lens used: canon 50mm 1:1,4 and sigma 70-200mm 2,8. - there is a filckering in the movie because the ligth in the hall had 50hps an the raw movie was filed with 60fps.

The flicker is actually from filming at 60ntsc then converting to an odd number like 25pal. Your up-converting ntsc to pal.

    You should only use PAL 50p to convert to 25p or NTSC 60p to convert to 30p. . . . odd-odd | even-even

I believe the flickering comes from the shutter speed setting.
If you shoot in a country where they use 50 Hertz then use 1/100 or 1/50; if in a country that uses 60 Hertz then use 1/60... To convert 60p to 25p shouldn't cause flickering, but it might affect the smoothness of the action but I haven't noticed it much when I test it.

right on, cool. It could be rolling shutter problem too.

Nice footage! Would 60p to 24p cause any flickering? 24 is even, so works right?

No... unless you're filming in a country that uses 50 Hertz then set your camera speed to 1/100 or other increments 50.
