“Shatter” is derived from one of my paintings. It was heavily processed using graphics software. Using this result, the image was literally shattered into fragments of color. Playing with these forms and complex computational techniques I found an interesting meditative quality which characterizes my work. This animation is an homage of sorts to arcade games of the early 1980's such as Asteroids.
