Anhui won the audience award as well as the runner up prize at the 2007 Salmagundi film festival. I received a $1000 art project grant from UVa and this was filmed in Jan 2007. stevegongphoto.com

    Where in Anhui is this? Some of my family is from the North part of Jiangxi and their village looks just about identical. Is there a hi-def version of this anywhere?

    This was Shouxian, Anhui. I'm afraid it was shot on a non HD camera. It was a pretty good camera for its time!
