Haiti has one of the world's highest concentrations of children laboring in slavery as household servants. But an innovative program is helping impoverished families recognize the hardships that children endure when they are sent away to labor as "restaveks" in wealthier homes. The Model Communities program has prompted parents to retrieve their children from restavek slavery, and it has prevented other children from becoming restaveks. This video features deeply moving interviews with families who are taking a stand against child slavery.
