Harvey Danger - Dining Car
"Dining Car" is a song from Harvey Danger's 1994 demo tape. Recorded years before "Flagpole Sitta," it's not a well-known song, even among die-hard Harvey Danger fans, and does not benefit from label release or published lyrics.
So naturally, we made a music video.
Original clips were filmed the morning of March 7, 2008 in a pay-for-parking lot in Seattle, WA, between Harvey Danger's shows on March 6 and 7 at the Triple Door. Other clips came from Harvey Danger's music videos for "Flagpole Sitta," "Private Helicopter," and "Save It For Later," as well as several movie productions of Shakespeare's Macbeth. The song title is a play on a line taken from Macbeth: This my hand will rather the multitudinous seas incarnadine/"in a car to dine." Hence, Dining Car.
