Nearly two dozen Bowdoin College faculty members took a turn as students in a four-day course titled "Digital Humanities @Bowdoin," taught by Professor of Art History Pamela Fletcher and Professor of Computer Science Eric Chown (co-directors of the College's new Digital and Computational Studies Initiative) on Jan. 13-16, 2014.
These scholars aim to harness digital tools to revolutionize all sorts of academic pursuits, in disciplines ranging from film to environmental studies to history. The first step? Drawing with turtles.
