I went to the Denver Auto Show last night, hoping that I might find that dream car I needed to buy. But I came away pretty unimpressed.

It's amazing to me how the old school, American Auto makers are so "old school " in how the approach their marketing for shows like this. It just doesn't make any sense to spend millions on TV advertising and then talk AT the consumers and not WITH them.

At least Scion does a half-way decent job of engaging their target consumers. They had "on-brand" music, showcased their customizable parts and, get this... actually talked to people as they sat in the car!
