It is assumed that parents who do not send their children to our Christian Elementary School will surely want to provide their children with this weekly opportunity to learn the ABC’s of Bible History and Doctrine. Sunday School and regular Church attendance is required for those in Public School Confirmation Class. All children are invited to attend our Sunday School.

EXTRA COPIES of St. Paul’s School Redwing Report are in the narthex.

NEW FLOWER CHART for 2014 is now posted downstairs.

CHURCH FINANCE RECORDERS Please get your final reports in to Financial Secretary Jeff Parr promptly.

TIME CHANGE for all evening meetings, classes and services here at St. Paul’s – from the 7:30 p.m. time slot to 7:00 p.m. IS NOW IN EFFECT.

WITH THE LORD – Maynard Tauscher passed away last Sunday at the age of 92. Services were here at the church on Thursday. Flowers are placed in his memory.

WITH THE LORD – Robert Christopherson of St. Paul’s Onalaska (and formerly of St. Paul’s, Bangor) passed away last Saturday (January 4) at the age of 86. Services were held here at the church yesterday. Flowers are placed in his memory.

Discussion of New School possibilities continued. From a recent gift of $15,000.00 in memory of Elmer & Virginia Horstman, $10,000.00 was allocated to the new school fund, $2,500.00 to internal school funds, and $2,500.00 to the General Fund. Mr. Payne & Mr. Wiechmann continue their online graduate course work through Martin Luther College. The 125th Anniversary of our congregation will be observed on Sept. 28th with Pastor Steve Olson preaching. The Council approved inviting organist Rev. Charles Bonow to conduct a devotional organ service (sermonette, Bible readings, hymn-singing and sacred organ selections) here on Sunday, May 25th in both services. The theme is “Here We Stand.” Rev. Bonow conducted a similar service for our Harvest-Mission Festival in 2009. As we did then, a free-will offering for the Bonow family will be received at the door.

ADULT MEMBERSHIP CLASS If you or someone you know is interested in this course on the ABC’s of Bible teachings, call the pastor (486-2754).

2014 OFFERING ENVELOPES are still available in the narthex – main floor.
