Regardless of your emotional state the cars are passive and disconnected from the driver. We believe that emotion sensing technologies inside the cars can dramatically improve the driving experience while increasing the safety of drivers.
We call this vision: AutoEmotive.
Although we experience hundreds of emotions on a daily basis, one of the most relevant (especially when driving) is stress. While certain amounts of stress is beneficial to be alert and attentive, too much stress or too little can negatively affects driving performance. Furthermore, when stress is experienced in large doses it can affect our quality of life and dramatically shorter our life expectancy.
We believe that adding emotion sensing technologies inside the car can help build an empathetic car that connects with the driver. In the same way people enjoy interacting with a dog to reduce stress or simply have a good time, we envision that people will want to use AutoEmotive in a similar way.
