After acquiring three of the main Star Trek franchises, Syfy UK set about creating a visual identity to brand the stack of programming. Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager and Start Trek: Deep Space Nine all fell under the umbrella of Star Trek Zone and the holodeck concept was devised to represent the themes of Star Trek as a whole. This device also permeated into promo endboards and bumpers around the show promotions.
The concept was developed in house with the help of Goldenwolf to visually bring the idea alive.
