Away from the tourists and bustle of cities lies an idyllic maasai manyatta, home to Jackson, our liaison and his extended family and neighbours. The maasai women are explicitly in charge of most things, making the homes, preparing food and collecting water. Their normal journey for water takes them 6km from their nearest seasonal camp.

We need:
A 280m borehole well drilled through tough Kilimanjaro lava-beds layered around the area with pump, grid cover and full protection from animals (wild or grazing).
Authorisation papers and permits.
