WildOhio TV: Some believe that hummingbird feeders can be taken down by Labor Day because these little birds will migrate south for the winter. However, one woman in Mansfield, Ohio left her hummingbird feeders up late and discovered that a rufous hummingbird was coming to it well into December.

Russ Thompson 2 years agoInteresting - I recently traveled to Elizabethtown, Ky to see Brainard Palmer-Ball catch and band a mature Male Rufous. The bird had previously been captured and banded in Louisana during February 2008 and even though we didn't get to band him it was great to see one up close.
