This was created during a one month beta test of the After Effects plugin "Particle Illusion" (piAE) by GenArts and Wondertouch.

My goal was to create a visually appealing video to go along with the Chemical Brothers song also titled Burst Generator. I was inspired by the type of audio visualizers that are normally automatically generated by music, but I wanted to take it to the next level by doing it all by hand. This is a concept I had been wanting to explore for a long time, but was always overwhelmed by the amount of work that it would take to hand craft each piece. It wasn't untill piAE came along that my vision seemed within reach.
