This month on Dialed-In, we take a look at Homeboy Industries. Homeboy Industries is the largest gang intervention program in the country. It was created to provide former gang members and recently incarcerated men and women a variety of services such as job training, mental health counseling, and tattoo removal. They also provide employment opportunities through their business enterprises, including Homeboy Bakery and Homegirl Café.
I'm pleased to have the founder of Homeboy Industries, Father Gregory Boyle, as well as two young people whose lives veered off course, but found hope and a new start once they came to Homeboy Industries. As always, you can watch the latest episode of Dialed-In with Don Knabe airing on Charter Communications Channel 101 and The California Channel 177, Monday-Friday at 10:30am and 8:30pm, as well as 8:30am and 6:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
