The decisions made by a goalie can be the difference in winning a championship or getting an early start on the offseason. Four goalies from Eastern University share their experiences between the posts and with the help of GoPro cameras give you a first-person look at playing this difficult position.
Senior communication student Tori Jacobson interviews these keepers about different aspects of being a goalie--from stopping a breakaway to bouncing back after giving up a goal.
Special thanks to the goalies: Elayna Simpson, Joe Centeno, Nick Policastro, and Jennifer O'Neill for taking the time to be interviewed and wear the GoPros; to all the Eastern University student-athletes that participated in the filming of the practice footage; and to Tori Jacobson for hosting, Josh Braman, Teresa Ehrat and Karl Leisch for working as DPs during the shoots.
