Scotch on the rocks directed by Carl Warner as a test idea for a whiskey commercial.
Set in a dry river bed of ice rocks on a cold grey early morning in Scotland, the sun rises to the opening of a bottle of Glenfiddich whiskey which is then poured over the ice. The flow of whisky tumbles and crashes over the rocks like a tsunami of scotch, forming waterfalls of amber spirit. As the camera pulls back it reveals the scene from inside a whiskey glass where the mountains were in fact an old Barbour coat laid on a table and the sky just the stones of a highland croft wall.
