This touching sequence was my way of thanking my father for all he does for me. Without him, my 2009 Christmas show would not have been as successful as it was. This sequence starts off with the story of how my father spent Christmas Eve, 1965 as a soldier in Vietnam and then goes into Stile Nacht (Silent Night) as performed by Manheim Steamroller. It is a very slow paced song and I used minimal effects, yet it still means more to me and my father than almost any other sequence I did this year. Until every soldier comes home, it will indeed be... a Silent Night.
