    Does it always paint the actual picture from the camera, or does it take pictures in intervals? Which programming language did you use?

    This was originally programmed in C, but I have a version of it that runs in Processing. The "brushstrokes" (and i use that term very loosely) always paint the colors currently seen by the camera at their location. So if the viewer is still, the image will resolve, if the viewer moves, the result will be quite a bit more abstract.
