Here’s some POV video footage from some high speed riding at the Meadows trail in Aliso & Wood Canyons Park in Aliso Viejo, CA. This is still my favorite "high speed" trail to ride, and whenever I go here I always find myself trying to beat my previous times. The 1-mile downhill course is built for speed - with berms at every flowing corner, long straight chutes, and a drop of 700 feet in elevation from top to bottom. What makes it a challenge is that the faster you go the tighter those flowing corners become, forcing you to choose between railing the berm at high speed or slowing down and losing momentum. Also, the straights aren't smooth at all, and at speed the technical terrain comes at you quickly.
