This video is about A Minnesota Funeral in the winter. People don't die only in the spring, summer or fall. In winter, here in Minnesota, the funeral takes place even when it's bitter cold. On this day the temperature was 14 degrees BELOW zero with a wind guesting from the west at 20-25 miles per hour. That made a "Wind Chill" (how cold it really FELT) of 30 degrees below zero. "Bundle up and wear warm clothes" our mothers would say... and these people did! Taking the video was spontaneous so I'm not happy with the videography but I could not wear gloves while shooting with the iPhone so I'm content with the results.
I tried to downplay the wind noise but yet that was part of the ambiance. Balancing that wind with the ministers words was also a challenge but some of the sermon did come through. It's set to Beethoven's 7th Symphony, second movement. Quite fitting for a funeral.
