This is a teaser for a longer video of our 'cycle the Sahara by Fat Bike'. This human powered adventure provided us with a tough challenge as the bikes weighed 35 kgs without food and water. We wanted to visit the high Dunes at Merzouga, the location of the Marathon De Sables and iconic images.

My buddy for this trip was James 'Pringle' Bebbington, one of the world's best freestyle kayakers and at the time of this trip World Champion. Our route saw us ascend the High Atlas Mountains to 2300 metres at Col De Tichka and then cycle down into dry piste conditions, dusty tracks and roads before eventually the sands of Merzouga. On the return journey we headed into the idyllic Ourika valley and enjoyed more tracks, river crossings and stunning riding. We also met Abdul, a metal sculptor and amazing artist who hosted us for a couple of days.
