Which Way Are You Going? is a short film which focuses on the language of signs and symbols that we experience during everyday journeys on trains, through streets and stations and on to our place of work. We're so familiar with this semiotic culture that when we need to interact with it, we do so completely subconsciously.
Many of these signs and symbols are the epitome of design in its most reductionist state combining form and function to the point where it is understood intuitively regardless of a need to speak any particular language.
In Which Way Are You Going? we see these icons of urban journeying in cold isolation without a person in view even though the sound of people can be heard all around us.
