Light and dark, noise and calm, beauty, decay, pain and hope--these are the shattering contrasts that propel our lives ahead in the boundless, throbbing river of existence. None of us knows what the next moment will bring, the raptures and terrifying discoveries born with every choice. And yet, in the alternation of day and night, in the ebb and tide of the oceans, in the constant expansion and quiet contraction of our lungs in and out with each breath--we know our journey is not random chaos but a journey where every shouting supernova, every trembling cell, returns to the one perfect mystery from which we all come and go.Instead, in the rotation of the stars, planets, seasons, increase, loss, sadness, joy, struggle, surrender-- there is a cosmic beauty, a unity and purpose.

Really special thanks to:

Ben Lukas Boysen (Hecq)
Hicabi Gulgen

It's reminded me of the story of the universe. How it started with the big bang, how its mystery is revealed through contrasts and how it will finish with hope and serenity. Great work.

Reminded me of a survival story which ends with hope. (Just like the Soul Survivors:) I guess these tragic stories are affecting my comments now:)
But of course, this is a far way better and well-put work. Awesome, Ayhan! Keep up the good work!

    wich technique did you used?
  • Ayhan Cebe 2 years ago
Thanks for the comment.. I'm glad you like it..
For the technique we used natural treated ocean water to get the best result with ink. This technique is actually ancient art form mainly known in Turkey and some parts of middle east. you can search for water marbling or "ebru" on youtube. i just tried to experiment with juxtaposing traditional art with digital media.. i also did some color grading for this look.. hope this helps..

Omg.. wow.. The comment you left below for this video really moved me. You're a real human being who probably always questioned the sanity of your existence - I'm glad there are people like you.. creating art and finding a purpose in every breath you take.

my brain told me..you're playing with brain cells.../)
i got your point when talking about "chaos" vs "unity".. at 5 years old, during a big flue (delirium), i saw (felt), this exact concept (...graphic/motion duality vs light/stability)..
no more about my i&i little experience..
    am still sick,..i guess .. ;)
