This is a test of the first phase of the Solenoid controller I've been building. Flash interfaces with a webcam as the sensor and averages out a greyscale image into grid points. Threshold meters activate/deactivate the solenoids based on objects below the grid location of the webcam. A threshold slider allows the controller to tune to the lighting of the environment.
The first versions will be operating in a 3x3 Array, this is done to make sure the concept works and for monetary concerns. The LED's are being used just for the first phase, the solenoids require high voltage and some integration with a zener bypass, something that's a little beyond the proof of concept for phase 1.
