  • very nice. I've always wondered where to start with an animation like this. Is it divided up into seperate comps? Or are you creating one long comp and just moving the camera around?
  • Austin Vavrovics 3 years ago
use a bunch of precomps with sections of the writting and then animate all of them in one big comp
  • Ryan Reede plus 2 years ago
hi, i've made a kinetic typography before, vimeo.com/5502346 , and i did so using precomps and animating them into one big comp all in my AE 30 day trial (its too expensive for a 15 year olds budget). I was attempting to make a second one, using more sophisticated camera movements, but it was too difficult for me and my trial ended before i could complete it. I put a lot of work and time in both illustrator and aftereffects, and what i have thus far is at this link.

    mediafire.com/download.php?yigzgmhotmm

I was wondering if either you or anyone else reading this would like to finish it in their free time just so i could see how the outcome would look. I didnt do it for a grade in a class or for money from anyone, but purely for fun. If anyone decides to do so (all thats left to do is animating the camera movements) please reply to this with the link. Also, feel free to lock the link from being downloaded just so i can prove to you that all i want is to see my work go to use.

    Thanks,
    Ryan
