    Totes stolen from the crack outside San Francisco's De Young Museum.

    (Actually that one's pretty neat; I think it's shaped like a local faultline.)

    Alby is an extremely perceptive and intelligent young man...

    According to the artist herself - "It represents borders, the experience of immigrants, the experience of segregation, the experience of racial hatred. It is the experience of a Third World person coming into the heart of Europe. For example, the space which illegal immigrants occupy is a negative space. And so this piece is a negative space."

    Could one buy a miniature replica of the crack in the museum shop? A t-shirt? A postcard?

    I think it's fantastic.

    I've searched the Tate Modern's online shop for you, but to no avail:

    I had a dream about you last night. Actually it was about vimeo. I know thats a bit sad but......vimeo was being taken over by porn.....eveywhere you looked there were profiles by pervy looking types with thumbnails of gussets and oiled muscles. I was so shocked that I decided to call round your house to share my grief. I knocked on your door and you were really tall and had a huge tash. I realised that you too had been assimilated by porn. You looked a bit like this;

    What does all this mean?

    When you start dreaming about Vimeo, it's a sign that you're spending far too long on the site.
