Erica is thirty-one years old. The last twelve years of her life have been, to say the least, tragic and dramatic. Left with the choice as a nineteen year old to either abort her son or move out, she decided to keep her child and marry the father. Her husband's physical abuse and drug use caused her to leave, and the impression it left on her eldest son never left him. The heartbreak of losing his father in divorce caused her son, Blaine, to begin having seizures. His medication then led to a stroke. Through years of attempting to rehabilitate him, he continued to regress. Erica then got remarried and had two more children, and Blaine's condition continued to worsen to near death; she has faith, however, that life holds good things for her and for her children in the future. This was over 45 minutes straight cut into a 6 minute story.
