Apollo Temple Didyma, Turkey
This historic site at Didyma in the Aydin region of Turkey was originally built between the 7th and 8th centuries BC and although it was destroyed by an earthquake in 1493 the remains still stand almost 3000 years later. The area covered is 106 metres by 51 metres and was surrounded by 124 stone columns each standing 20 metre high. This video was shot whilst on holiday in Altinkum on the Aegean Coast. The camera used was a Sony V1 with a Red Eye wide angle adaptor attached.

Nice stuff. Can't say anything bad about Aydin , since I was nameed after the province. My dad did his military service there and loved it. Although the meaning of the word means intelligent, bright I think he just named me after the province.
Will probably be there in June and will shoot some footage on my EX1.
My wife and I love Turkey, we spend a lot of time there having an apartment just behind the temple in Didim. We were there just three weeks ago and I used my V1 to film the Ephesus site which I'll post when I get chance to edit it. Nice to hear from you and I'll look forward to your EX1 footage.
I presume you cann't use a tripod on the site.
