ELCA Bishop Wayne Miller of the Chicago Metro Synod joins a number of other bishops and church leaders with Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Serivce at the 2009 Immigration Ready Bench Gathering in Washington D.C. These leaders from around the country participated in a two day experience on Capitol Hill. Their time was spent learning and advocating for comprehensive immigration reform.
